X2, but bedline them...i knowbfrom experiemce that spray paint doesnt work. One trip down a gravel road, and the paint will be toast.

actually mine look like fiberglass or some shit. They are black from the factory but the rock chips and sun have got to 'em. I painted them once to try and restore them, but it didn't last long. Ill eventually bedline them and my rocker panels.

Yeah. I need to get some bed liner on them. They were super sun faded but I took some steel wool to them for now. And I am struggling to find time to lift it. But it will be on. Eventually. In fact i started removing the leaf springs on Sunday and it all came to a screeching halt when i broke the wrench in half. I guess i need to borrow an impact wrench or use more wd40 next time. I had to put it back together due to the wrench breaking.

I put like 3 coats of paint on, but no clear coat, so i suppose if wasnt very good. But i'd still like to bedline them. And do my rockers at the same time.

Mine were already bad when i got it so i said fuckit and took the flaps off...plus you almost have to take the fronts off when you get bigger tires or they'll rub.

Shit, I just realized we pretty much jacked your thread. And me too, someday I want a solid axle. And THAT shit takes some cash. I'm sure given a year or so you'll have your truck modded pretty good, just takes time. I almost died waiting to get enough money for my tires.

I do have a pile of parts sitting in my room. I will be in texas this weekend so i have no time to put them on. Maybe next.

@ Yotakid- i dont mind the thread jacking. Haha and i would love the sas but ive only had the truck for 10 months and my licence for 4.5. So far I have new rear shocks installed, debaged, de flapped, and jumped the truck. So i would say its been pretty good so far.

^^ Obviously jumping a stock truck isnt a good idea at all. You dont have to be that smart to figure that one out. But since im changing out my suspension soon i figured why not trash the stock suspension before i switch. But in a safe way. I only got off the ground a couple inches so it wasnt bad enough to bottom out and rebound like your buddy did in his chevy.

Probably not going to sell my old suspension. If anything i will just give it away to a buddy or trash it. Its not worth much and sucks really bad. I will keep the old leaf springs though.
