I'm subscribing, I'm on less than a high school budget. I have 25 cents in my wallet, that's it. Hopefully getting a new job soon, before I run out of gas lol

Good news! Its planned to install the lift this SUNDAY. The next few days should be long ones since im so pumped. I will be borrowing an impact wrench to make my life a little easier with the install.

@HedgehogOutdoors What in the world is a Youtube check. Never heard of one. Please enlighten me on what one is

I remember doin my lift. The front was a bitch because UCA's maxxed out before the spacers would fit! I ended up disconnecting them from th mount in the engine bay to get enough droop. Makes me wonder if those spacers were more than a 3" lift.

no, did you try the bottle jack method? where you put the jack between the top of the fenderwell, and the uca? me and dad and 2 of my buddies used a bunch of crow-bars and pryed it down enought to start the bolt then just tapped it in.

I did try the bottlejack method... and it dented the top of my fender before it moved any. I didnt feel real comfortable taking the ball joint apart either, because it was just one of those nights where shit was just waiting for an opportunity to break. I just ran the long bolts out from the back of the uca and they popped right off. But the pickle fork would work well indeed! Ill lhave to remember that in case i ever have to do ball joints.

^^^ Well that hoping of not running into any problems was a longshot. So the story goes that we pull the front tires off and skidplates. No big deal. Then we move onto unbolting the driverside strut. 2 of the three bolts were a big pain in the ass. We rounded off the back two even with a 6 sided socket and a breaker bar, but before that we broke 2 Sockets and the ratchets for those sockets. After that My father and I drove an hour to the nearest Sears for a new Ratchet wrench and drove an hour back to get to work. After completely rounding off the bolts to the point of no use we re assembled and moved to the back. Didnt run into any real issues except for the main eye bolt. We just cut the damn thing off. So after one day of work my truck is now 1/4 Lifted. Getting the other leaf spring on tomorrow after school so its at least half way lifted.

We tried WD-40 and lots of it. We will get them off one way or another. But on a better note the rear end is now fully lifted. :woot: Im rocking a good amount of rake right now. I would take a picture but due to the time change It is now pitch black outside

Put a vicegrip on the nut real tight and heat those bitches up. They'll come right off.

We did put a vice grip on them. Couldnt get them to budge. But mostlikly we shall cut the damn things off. Im tired of the bullshit. I just want to get the truck lifted. But even with just the rear installed it looks pretty good. I will snap a picture tomorrow if I remember.

Like i said, if you've got one, use an acetylene torch to heat em up. They'll thread right off.
