    With what your describing and how new your bike is, likely just the grease running in. Pedals can go quite a while before "needing" service.

    @Saturnine likes taking them apart just to see the shaft.

    and 10 year old me knows what it feels like to have a chain snap and impale my calf into the front gear teeth :cookiemonster: 2 hour drive away from the nearest hospital. Still have the scars today.

    spare pedals from @Saturnine and not the stock ones.

    i had fun trying to remove the stock ones :anonymous: did no realize one is reverse thread.

    11 yr old me had his index finger tip collected into the chain and front sprocket of my bike, driving half of my fingernail down to bone.

    Good times

    I knew a guy who went down hill and hugged a tree real good. Tree was so excited to give his lung a kiss.
    but it didn';t happen to me so i can't use that one :cookiemonster: I think you win the pain scale flex on this one....
    that's fucking brutal.

    These ones suggest servicing every 50hrs which I certainly haven't done. It's basically just pulling the axle, greasing it and putting it back together. Replacing bearings, if necessary. Similar issue here, one spins more freely than the other but I don't feel any issue with the bearings or seals. Just spins worse once installed.

    Well, my reverb dropper shit the bed (again). Don't buy a hydraulic dropper post. Never again. Haven't done any maintenance on the entire bike all winter. Pull it out for a test ride, everything is mint - dropper pulls itself down and that's that.

    I hate it.

    If droppers were around while Mitch hedberg was alive he would quip that when a dropper post breaks, it just becomes a seatpost.

    Sorry for the convenience

    For real, though; the option is either a fully stuck down post that's too short or mid-extension that moves as you ride

    Didn’t know you guys went to the HAFTA trails. Thought the gnome gnome feature looked familiar.

    went to Glen Eden trails but they were closed for the day, so we picked something else close by and ended up going to Hilton falls. i had zero idea of what to expect and it's a bit too hard core for me :p
    but hey, been there - done that

    If anyone wants to hit up Durham Forest tomorrow (Saturday) at 2pm just add yourself to the list. Friend of mine will be there giving a lesson to someone, and the ride will be slow pace;
