Did some maintenance today, cleaned the uniballs and greased the UCA's.

Then swapped out the radiator support bushings to a set of Energy Suspension poly bushings.

Drivers side still looked really good but the passenger side was shot. Seems like that is the opposite of what most others have reported.

Not sure about bronze and MGM personally. That's why I went the gunmetal grey color.

    I figured it was different.

    I like different.

It will end up being something like one of those colors. That third one is the paint that guy used on his from the fs link you sent me a while back.

Did you sand your wheels first? Also did you have to use a primer or did you go straight to paint?

I cleaned thoroughly and sprayed. It's held up really well so far.

    O. So no sanding no priming, just a good wipe down with something like mineral spirits?

I used a diluted bottle of Simple green and a shit ton of elbow grease. It's a lot of work getting into those slots and get clean. Simple Green works well on accumulated bearing grease and brake dust that covered mine when I bought them.

This is what I used to paint. Also check out Oil Rubbed Bronze Metallic.

I saw the pics of your wheels in the oil rubbed. Bit darker than I am aiming for.

But thank you for clarifying the paint you used and that it worked well. Did you also throw a clear coat on your wheels?

No, I did not. I can also thank that my wheels had the paint baked on them under direct AZ summer sun. It was 110 outside and by the time I had my last coat at noon, I couldn't even pick them up.
I have read that others have added a clear coat and it worked very well. Honestly I didn't plan to keep this color. I'm going to get 2 more and get them powder coated. That way I'll have 2 sets :)
