You were discussing the state of the tent you just got earlier did you get it from another member here? I thought perhaps TW gave you some recourse in those situations like reporting them so others arent as dissatisfied as you are? It's a shame man you looked for one of them for quite a while.

Spent last night redoing a project that I had already completed. The driver side cmc.

As you can see the original was very blocky and squared off. I thought it would be fine and serve it's purpose and never gave it much thought. Then we I finally got to stretch the trucks legs at Potts I found out quickly it needed help. Plus I pretty much had polished all the paint off the big square outside corner. So I needed to cut more anyway.

So I got the tools out last night, chopped it off again and and started re-piecing it together. This time with the intention of making everything round and smooth.

Not sure if you can tell the difference from one to the next in the photo, but it is very evident in person, plus I no longer rub backing out of the garage.

So hopefully I put what I had learned to good use and this time the chop is successful.

Thank you. No point in redoing it if I'm gonna half ass it and not grind everything smooth and clean up the welds.

So what's next? What are the next big plans? I've been so self absorbed in my own trucks deconstruction and reconstruction I haven't paid much attention to anything else. There has to be a big mod rolling around in that head somewhere.

Several, in fact over half of a white boards worth of mods. But like usual my stuff is on the back burner.

A white board huh? I never considered that but it may be a good idea to help my forgetful ass to remember things I need to do. I'm trying to be positive it'll get better and you'll be back in the mood to play with the truck. At least I truly hope so for your sake

Even if it does it seems most of my garage time is spent working on other people's stuff. Doesn't really leave much time to work on mine. That and I've knocked out most all of the stuff I can do by myself.

What could I possibly come help you with my shit can wait. Whether I work on mine or yours either way it's fun to me I just get tired of always working on mine alone all the time. I'd be happy to help you with whatever I can.

Had a busy day today working on the truck.

Dropped the bumper to clean it up and repaint it as well as to install my new retro's.

First hard step was just dropping the bumper by myself.

Nekkid front end shot. For those looking for truck pron...

Then the real challenge, putting the bumper with winch back on the truck by myself. I'm getting old and out of shape, but I managed to finally manhandle it in place.

HUGE THANKS TO @Coot83 for doing the lights for me! Phenomenal job and would highly recommend his services to any.

I know it was a move that definitely came out of nowhere. Would have been fun to wheel with you and @Casper66 and also learn a few things from you guys.
