Welcome, not much happening in here lately. Hopefully a couple things will happen shortly after the new year... waiting on parts for one thing and desire for the others...

Oh yeah it'll be a thrash but I think Chris and I have a pretty good plan so far and Bill and Randy may appear as well so 4 guys that know their way around stuff should go pretty quick. If I have time I may try and put the cab mount relocates on.

Just remember the old saying "too many cooks in the kitchen". Sometimes more hands create more confusion. Especially when some hands claim to know way more than actual. Just what I have found in my past experiences. YRMV.

Sounds like you guys have it totally under control, so I will probably keep my nose out of the garage so I'm not in the way.

I've done several frame off restos and thrashing to keep a circle track car running for many seasons with a big group of guys it's all about putting people where they need to be and orchestrating a plan of action. But I have been in those situations you describe and it can happen and be no fun.

Dirt or asphalt? What class? I used to mechanic/crew chief for a friend's car many years ago. He was dirt track pony class when we started and he ended up going full sponsored late model and "provided" a crew and mechanic by his sponsor.

Asphalt. The track we raced as use to be one of the NASCAR weekly race series tracks so there were some current and past NASCAR racers that came through there or that was their home track. It was pretty fun but really expensive we had very minor sponsors essentially paid for gas, tires, and some repairs/upgrades for a season. One of the guys who use to pit crew with us is now one of the Engine engineers/mechanic/builder for Roush Yates building their engines for the Winston and Busch series (I don't know what they are called now, I'll always call them that, hahahaha)

Got a new "jar" today. Need to get a ride together so we can "dispose" of it.

Shame you didn’t bring a jar when we worked on the trucks your frame plates could have been welded on backwards. Come to think of it I had a jar of peach in the basement :frusty:

I offered to bring the "sweet tea" and you said no. Also offered to bring a few different $100 bottles of assorted whiskeys and bourbons, yet you still said no. So it's your fault...

You are correct. I did confuse the sweet tea and thought you actually meant sweat tea. The beer was good though.
