Thanks Brad! That sure was fast for a relentless bumper to get shipped!! lucked out huh?

went with the engo 9000s. heard good things about it and saw a couple really nice write ups on it from offroad magazines so I figured I would give it a try, plus I couldnt beat the price honestly.

Hell yeah. A guy in TN has one and we used it twice on the trip to Harlen in Oct. Only thing I didn't like was the pulling speed. Runs a lil too slow for the times when he was catching up to it. Besides that it worked great.

Actually I ordered the DIY kit which ships faster since he doesn't have to get his guys to weld up any of it.

Im not too concerned about pulling speed honestly, as long as it is slow and steady that is fine with me. better than fast yet unreliable like some i have seen are. seems like if a winch goes slow there is a considerable amount less strain going on... but maybe i am giving too much credit to the slow speed??

there wasn't much of a writeup. even if there was, it'd be a bitch of a time trying to find it in that thread lol.

luckily, it's only 3 wires and a ground. when you crackopen your solenoid box, you'll see 3 wires going to the little plug for the corded remote. follow those down to where they are attached to the solenoid and see which heavy guage cable they correspond to. one will connect the the cable that goes directly to your battery. that is the wire that will go to the on/of switch. beyond that, it will then just connect directly to to the switches that link to the other two. wires. that way when you flip the switch and press in or out, power is coming from the live wire, to the propper side of the solenoid. worst case scenario is that your winch does the opposite of what you tell it to. if that's the case, just switch the terminals of the second and third wires. let me know when you get closer to wanting to do it yourself and i'll see if i can dig up some pictures or draw you a schematic.

Finally got to head up to Brian's house yesterday and work on the truck. I say finally only because the 886's have been sitting in the tool shed unopened for about 3 or 4 weeks. But long story short, got the 885's and top plates off and the 886's installed. Then had some fun in the road in front of his house respooling the winch.

Thanks again Brian for the help, garage, and friendship! had a great time like always.
It was nice to meet you John, excited to see that truck be built in no time! Just rem all you have to do is let me know and I will try to get back up to Huntsville and help wrench!

Next order of business, I have a set of 885x's and toytec top plates for a full 3" lift(how they advertise them) for sale. Both components have slightly less than 5,000 miles on them. Will be making a for sale thread for them this week when I can get a chance, but those that watch this thread can have a headstart!
