Damn dude. Thats a sick build so far. Is the bed bar a demello? How do you like it? I like mine but hate how you have to give up two cleats. Your one lucky guy to get that bumper foe free too!! haha. What are your plans? Do you want to go long travel or mid travel?

thanks man im putting it on in like 15 minutes if all plans go right!!!! :D:D:D
hey man thank you very much you got a beat looking truck too. Im not sure what kinda bed bar that it but i really really like it honestly. its so nice to be able to see at night and load and unload my dirtbikes. My plans for this is to make it full LT. I havent decided if i want to go LT in the front first and get billy 5125's or go LT in the rear with Mid travel in the front for temporary. thats all up in the air at this point. i have about 2 grand saved right now im the bank but in early august ill be selling my show hog so thatll be about a grand too. But like i said, its all up in the air. but i will make it long travel, its just a matter of time.

i should have pictures of the bumper on tonight if all goes well

nice. I think working your way up would be your best bet. LT is cool and all but personally, I dig the mid travel since you can do a little of everything and its a bit cheaper do get it done RIGHT. I mean if you want LT to do jumps and go fast on washbord trails, you'd need the whole shabang like the upper and lower control arms, bypass shocks, bumpstops, fiberglass, limiting straps and coilovers with resis so they don't get too hot and fail and the rear would need a leaf pack, straps, shackles, bypasses or resis, ect. lol I know you prolly know all of this already, just throwin it out there. I just really dig the simplicity compared to that. For mid travel you would just need coilovers, add a leaf, rear shocks n your gewd to go. (at least thats my plan) lol. I'm pretty sure your bar is demello. I havent seen any companies copy the demello bar but I may be wrong. They are based out of riverside, CA if you want to look them up. They are a VERY good fab shop. Ya I saw. is the bumper a weld on not bolt on?

well boys and gals, here it is..... :p

my buddy mitch did everything for me since i have no idea how to do this.

taking off the original bar that was to big
    [IMG]
i ended up buying inch and a half box tubing and chopping off the original bumper mounts
    [IMG]
where we welded it.. all the way back and as close to the radiator as we could get it
    [IMG]
Close up picture of the space
    [IMG]
So since the bumper was bent already we made our own brackets for it.
and here is the end result.. :woot:
