ended up replacing the driver side wheel bearing today up at Dirt Designs. it was pretttttttyy bad and i didnt want it to grenade out at pismo so better safe than sorry right?. We had a few troubles since it was pretty much seized on. had the grind off the second part of the bearing since we were never able to pull it off, along with the metal sleeve between the two bearing halves. just remember to put the 4 bolts back into the bearing hub before you press the new bearing on. we almost forgot and that wouldve been no bueno.

just for the bearing alone from toyota was 171 after tax. if i were you, id suggest getting everything new. more of a pain trying to get the old stuff to work. mine were pretty close to seizing because the bearings had heat marks all on them.

For $171 did they throw in the hub too or just the bearing?

it came with the hub that the bearing sit inside of. also, i noticed that on your spindles you welded the whole backing with a plate right? might be a little more PITA if you ever do your wheel bearings.
