New Bumper, Finally No More De-Chroming




Purchased the new bumper from Toyotapartsbarn.com for $163. its labeled as w/ SR5 Package w/ Sport Package but it still fit my Rugged Trail OffRoad Package.

Nice build! How is the Plasti-Dip holding up on the interior? I like the look. Concerned about it wearing quickly from constantly being in contact with it, shifter, window switches and such

The plasti dip has held up really well especially the little bit i did outsde on the antenna holder. it rubbed off on the driver side window controls but because i drive with my knee scraping up against it, never even ealized it untill i saw my paint job peeling away

Shifter still looks the same as the day i did it but there really isnt as much traffic around it.

I still have my stock headlights that i would like to have BHLM done to, but i dont wanna try and do them myself as a first time expirement lol. Where in GA are you??

Did you do the spindle lift yourself? I really wanna do this. And you have stock suspension and stock ucas?

 

No unfortunatley i do not have any room to do anything major to my truck. the apartments i live in prohibit any vehicle to be on jack stands for any reason!!. i found a good guy here thoguh thats been doin everything for me and letting me jump in every so often. I highly recommend the spindle lift DO IT!! you wont regret it.

My suspension recently changed, i just added 5100's front n back set to 0 with OME 883 coils for an extra 1 1/2" lift (Pictures soon ). UCA's still stock. the great thing about it is that your suspension can stay completley stock after installing the spindles and your alignment will be very easy to get into spec.

I recently found out though that with 1" spacers added to my stock wheels i had a horrible front end shake from 45-60, removed them and completley silk now.

dude awesome look, awesome truck!!! im thinking about putting some 4" spindles on my baby and the tuff country 2" AAL... before I pull the trigger on this, anything you would suggest from experience? this is my first taco and lift, I just want to be safe and your truck is the exact look im going for!!!

 

Where did you get your grill and head/tail lights. Not looking to get same grill, looks ba on yours, but i would like to get something similar..
