Whenever I see the new 2020's I'm always like "why?"
It's so expensive for what you get, $50k for a 2wd!!
    There's even a TRD Pro, $65k!!

No car company is brave enough to make a vehicle in China and sell it in the US. At least I hope.

Just checked and you are right. That's crazy. Frankly, if I were going that high I would just get the Land Cruiser and never buy another car for the rest of my life.

    :(

Makes sense though. Buick is a hot seller in China because they dont like Japanese cars from what I've heard. So a lot of attention from Buick goes to China. Must be weird seeing that sticker on the window saying where it's made.

Same here for my sr5 ac being built in texas around then. Saw all the dd short and long beds on dealers lots...all built in medico. Already spoke with a couple people over the last few months that had some issues with their taco. Found out they came from mexico.

Why would the theft rate change?

Currently with some other factory brands are stolen and taken across due to parts more available. As I here it anyway

The Tacoma has already been produced across the border for years so I can't imagine the theft rate would change.

Dont no anymore the local news use to report it but not anymore. Cant be any worse than anywhere else. And if your vin number is made in mexico starts with a 3 then that's where mine was made and I have no issues with that. I still will continue to buy them
