Hey whats up people, just got my 16 tacoma not too long ago got me this. Trd off road, need help advice, tips. Trying to get a nice little lift on it. Deciding between 4 or 6 inches, but looking for that cAli lift. The truck already comes with the bilstein shocks. I dnt do alot of off road as i live in san diego, but will catch the baja here and there, and also want my truck looking sharp. Any reccomendations? What too look for, tires size? I dnt off road much so not trying to spend a fortune,

I don't mean to jack this guys thread, but I didn't want to start a new one and I'm also looking for some info on lifts. I'm a total newb to lifts so I was wondering if someone could help out with some basics:

-Does the truck sit level from the factory? I thought I heard the front-end is like 1-inch higher or lower. What is the benefit of that? If I'm lifting, do I want to try to level the truck out or keep the front-end slightly higher/lower?

-I understand the "spacer" lifts are not the way to go. I've ordered a TRD OR. What is the best way to achieve maybe a 3 - 4" lift? What I need new shocks? I assume I'd need more than just the Bilstein 5100s.

-How much could one expect to pay for a 3-4" lift? My goal in getting the lift is to have a little more clearance for rocks when off-roading and also just for the looks. But I want to maintain top-notch performance. I'd strive to impact mpg's as little as possible, but what reasonable hit can you expect to mpg's

-Is the truck affected negatively any other way than taking a hit to mpg's? Does this increase vibration? Mess with alignment? Anything?

Anyway, any insight you can give on this would be helpful. I know these answers are probably out there, but there's so many lift threads it's hard to find.
