    Thanks but there's a 2.5 extended travel Fox factory edition coilover that's available. I'm having a hard time finding ext/comp lengths on it but the difference between the standard KINGs and FOXs are pretty minimal. I'd be surprised if there was a big difference in the extended travel dimensions from each company but would like to know for sure as I'm leaning towards Fox lately.

    Is there a list of correct bolt sizes for kings and an archive relocation bracket?
    Figured I'd gather hardware now.
    Is grade 8 mandatory? Or just a safe move?

    I received all my items, and your reputation already is prominent in this thread, but a big 1+ rep to eric. Answered a ton of my questions and everything he makes is pretty damn beefy.

    If you are on the fence just buy this stuff. You can always make more money

    @ovrlndkull
    First pics of the Archive 1st gen Tundra shock relocation that fits under the bed. There is no where near the room on Tundra because the frame is wider and leaf springs are right next to the tires.
    These shocks are custom valved by AccuTune, Fox Factory 2.0x12 (19.1" comp), and axle tabs are set for installation of Archive Overland springs in about a month. (stock mounting only allows a 2.0x10)

    Does this include the bolts needed to mount the shocks too? That was my question.

    They don't. There's nothing spectacular about their valving. I'll give them credit where they do have some cool smaller detail features that other manufacturers don't but most of their "magic" is just marketing.

    All shock companies have pros/cons and as some of you have pointed out, it's not a "one size fits all" formula. The off the shelf product is to please the majority of users but they can't please everyone. My one complaint with Fox is they tend to ride stiff off the shelf. The engineer/tuner that does their OE spec stuff must have a hard butt dyno. :bikewhoops:
    If I'm not mistaken, all of their "Off Road" catalog is 17-4 stainless.

    I’ve been looking around at all the options for hydros on our trucks and these caught my eye. Is that exactly how they come ordered from the website or did you request anything custom?

    Well yes and no! The ones on the site are for 2nd gen Tacoma’s and I’m test fitting these for the 3rd gen. One hole (but just barely), that bolts to the frame bottom was slightly off, but now I’m sure Riley has got it worked out. I’m getting them powder coated now.

    He’ll comment if I’m in correct!! Here’s a pic when I was test fitting them

    Looks like good quality. Especially for the price point. Thanks for the prompt answer! :thumbsup: I’m more curious how the bumps come. Yours appear to be the threaded body and lock ring style bump. Does it require bump cans or a sleeve? Frame mounts aside, I like the design Locked is going for. So I’ll probably opt’d for them.

    Well they are threaded, but with the new design the sleeve doesn’t need to be. It can all be adjusted on the bump itself not the mount.

    Hopes this answers ur question
