Never realized mine were oriented with the reservoir fitting down :( Does it make a difference in performance?

Not in shock performance, possibly though in hose longevity, generally better in fitment

AG shock relocation kit with Fox 2.5 x 12" smoothies
    AG HH and shackles
TC bump stop kit with Fox 2" bump stops

Definitely feel like the rear end is more solid, less shimmies over hard bumps. Happy with the increased flex off road.

Looking to add the AG HH cross bar once I get my spare tire mounted up on my new HC bumper/tire carrier. Definitely recommend this set up. Next best set up aside from doing lots of fabrication with bed cage.

    What is the backspacing?
A 265 on 4.75" backspacing will need around 1.5" spacer

Stock wheel is 16x7 with 30mm offset. So 5.18” backspacing. Will a 2.0” shock clear? Or is the shock mount the limitation?

Every shock relocation requires spacers. The shock is relocated to vertical and about 12" above the frame rails That wheel would require at least a 1.5" spacer.

Have you seen my limit strap solution? You’ll want an adjustable top on them. Some people just plate the inside of the frame and mount it to that but I used 2” square tubing to make a crossmember and mount them to that.

most people don’t run limit straps in the rear. Not really “necessary” unless you’re planning on bombing big desert terrain

So many people should be though. Cheap insurance for expensive shocks

No problem. Used cardboard to make the template for the frame rails and cut it out of 1/4”. The tubing is 1/8” wall. Got the mounts from TMR customs. They’re really solid

All depends on application. Not disagreeing with you about insurance, but the amount of load required to damage one of these is not created on the rear of these trucks without severe abuse that most will not achieve.

I’d argue that they are needed on the fronts more than the rear.

Super interested in this relocation and I wanted to ask a few questions: I have +3.5 LT bumped and strapped at 13.5” but I camp in my bed a lot and haul dirt bikes (and I don’t have an endless wallet for a bedcage and SUA) so this option seems much less expensive. I would love my rear to improve from stock as it is cause I want to use my LT more than I do now. The reason why I can’t do SUA is because of 1) cost, 2) bed space, and 3) weight from towing dirt bikes on sua. What setup would you recommend for this relocation when it comes to a spring and a shock? I’d like to stiffen up the rear with an adjuster when I’m hauling my bikes, but be able to loosen it when prerunning, so in this case a smoothie would work, but a bypass would allow me to tune the rear to work with the front better. Also when it comes to shock length I’d like to hear your recommendations of if a 12 or 14 would work better! Thanks so much!
