Would radflo 2.5 12 inch shocks work with your shock relocation?

Yes, It's been done, but note that Radflo has a potential interference because their top cap hose outlet has an unusual upturned angle

Also, they have an unnecessarily long lower rod end, see if they have a short version like standard on King/ optional on Fox

Yes, axle tabs get set off bump height. Reservoir cannot mount to the shock body.

Getting ready to install soon and have 2 questions.

    1) Is there a specific post in this thread with clear direction on setting up the angle of the lower shock mounts based on bump stop?

    2) I have a Decked system in my bed. Anyone done the relo towers with a Decked system? Seems like the bolts for the Decked system will be really close to the tower.

    TIA

    1. Post #500 gives approximate location, I can email instructions if you didn't receive them. Regardless, axle tabs are to be set off your specific setup full compression bump height

    2. No one has contacted me with interference to Decked system, but if you want to send pics I can review and give you my impression

    Thanks!

As far as the Decked goes I guess it depends on how close the back of the relo tower is the the bed wall. The bolts can obviously be turned around or even 2 of them possibly drilled through the tower (worst case).

Thanks Eric. I'm really looking forward to getting my HHs, Relo tower and u bolt flip kit in. My truck is like that guy at the gym that never does leg day :D

From the pic, I think you might be ok with no interference, the rear of the tower falls right near that 7/16" round hole in frame, and leans a few degrees forward towards engine at the top

Radflo does offer a shorter rod end for applications like this.

I'm looking at getting the relocation done with the king 12' smoothie shocks and I was wondering if 1.25 spacers will be enough. I'll be running the stock TRD Off-road set of wheels and tires until the tread wears a little more.

Sorry for delay in answering, that would be a bit to close and might rub as I figure, do you have the wheel specs?
I think they would be about 5.25" backspacing

If I was to go with King triple bypass, should I go with 12 or 14”? Currently have Allpro expo leaves and later on might go to Deaver Soa stage 3.

    Whole lotta stuff
For spring over, I’d say go with a 14” short body, welded lower rod end, the lot. The important part since you’re going bypass is making sure to cycle your travel fully and determine where you want your ride height to be in the tube zones with how much bump travel you will have. That will also determine where you burn in your lower axle tabs. If you less than 6” of bump travel, It might be better to go with a 12”.

If you want bypasses, I feel you're more focused on bump travel and controlling it, therefore I think the droop is less important.
You would already get a bunch of droop with 12", and the springs you mentioned are tapped out around 12".
I don't know if King builds bypasses on the 14" "short body", I know they offer the SB for smoothy. If they do offer bypass in 14" SB, then that is a good move

Yea i didn’t see a short body for bypasses either. So looks like I’ll be going with the 12”. But thanks for the response, as well as @Supra4x4 preciate it!

Anyone know this guy? Don’t have IG and wondering if he’s on here. Curious what size spacer he had to run with these wheels. Shock relocation is purchased and have these same wheels at the moment.

Whats the backspacing on those wheels? You want around 3” BS to clear a 2.5 rear shock with these towers.
