    3. Set strap tabs on the axle after relocation install complete, then measure and buy what you need (figure around 18-19")

    Thanks for the info Eric.

Since you've seen many different setups, can you elaborate on what people do in the front when they push the rear out 2"?

Do I need to push the front out as well by the same amount as the rear? Or can I get by with just pushing it a bit, or nothing at all?

I've had a few different wheel/tire/spacer setups and I always have a wider rear than the front. You can't tell unless you're looking for it and for me, it's function over form. As you said, if you widen the front to match the rear, you'll rub more. My first setup was a .75" difference (1.25" spacers in the front, 2" spacers in the rear) and my current is 0.5" in the rear, nothing in the front.

Yeah I'm looking for functionality more than anything. I want to make sure the drivability and perfromance is not going to be affected by pushing the rear 2" and nothing in the front. But if that doesn't affect anything, I probably won't put anything in the front. I've already had to do my CMC twice and putting a spacer means I might start rubbing again.

If I could get by with putting the AG relocation and not having to use wheel spacers, that would be my preference but that's not an option.

    Thanks for your input!

I run no spacer up front, 1.25" out back

I handles better than no spacers, it's going to be more stable. Aren't most supercars wider out back?

I think handling would be fine. I was thinking more about going through tight spots. I'll have to be mindful knowing that if I clear the front, it doesn't neccessarily means the rear is on the clear.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I probably get everything installed and measure after to make sure I get the proper length.

Looking to buy Kings 12x2.5 smoothies from someone on here that has changed their mind on this setup. I’ve had my archive shock relo kit sitting in my garage for over a month and it’s killing me.

That is right on the edge of fitting with 1.25" spacers I believe with a 2.5x12"

I’m going from 1.25” to 1.5” spacers. 4.5” backspacing on 35x12.5” and they just barely touch the shock body at full tilt. 2.5x12” smooth bodies.

Would 1.25" spacers be the correct size for with 4Runner TRD PRO wheels (4mm offset) and 255/80R17's?

What width are they? If 17x7 wide, a +4mm offset should be about 4.2" backspacing. If so, then 1.25" spacers would be good with 255/80-17.

Even with crummy Dakars, the ride/droop has never been better.
