That's what I did over the weekend. Came out great and the ride is awesome! I also added Icon 3 Leaf Progressive AAL's in the back. I wanted to keep a stock rake and I think it's just about right. I also added LR UCA's just to make sure that my alignment comes out fine on Thursday.

You get your suspension travel from your shocks. Stock has 4" up and 4" down. So the higher you lift with stock length shocks the more down travel you loose. The springs give a better ride than preloading the coils with an adjustable shock. I have 5100s at 1.75 on stock coils and the ride is ok but I'm about to put on some OME 885s to get 3 inches up front and a 3 leaf progressive AAL in the rear to get 3 inches up front and 1.5 in the back. The lean comes from the gas tank and battery being on the same side of the truck. I suggested the 884s because it should give 1.75-2 inches up front and from what I have read the OME rides better than the Eibachs.

Looks good man! I would have my 885s and a 3 leaf pack on already but I went ahead and bought some new UCAs from DSM under the group buy so now I have to wait and get the rest of my lift this month sometime!

Depends on what you want. I looked into the OME vs Eibach coil debate quite a bit before deciding on Eibachs. From reading people's experience with each coil, I found that people who tend to stay on pavement seemed happier with the Eibachs while people who liked to get off the beaten path went toward the OME. That eventually drove me to buy the Eibachs since they seemed to match my needs (mostly pavement, just wanted a stiffer coil).

I was in the same boat. Collecting parts for about 3 weeks. First shocks and the aal. Then, read some more and picked up the arms and springs. Finally, the 1/4" spacer and carrier bearing spacer. Then one day I said enough and just put the parts on!

Yeah. I hope I can get it and put it on before I take it to the Outer Banks at the end of the month!

So, turns out that I probably didn't need the arms. Alignment came in at 2.9 degrees caster left and right, 0.3 degrees camber and 0.0 toe. They didn't fuss with upper ball joint of the LR Arms to reduce it, but it drives nice so I'm happy. No vibrations and drives just like stock. Good stuff.

Just by having the LR UCA's at their neutral setting adds 2* of caster

    True.

It was the least caster they could get without messing with the settings on the arms so I told them to leave it. They could have gone up to almost 4 degrees without touching the ucas according to the tech. I'm glad I did get the arms though. Made the alignment a no-brainer. Over all, the truck rides way better than before. Much more controllable and smoother over rough roads.

Now I just need to decide on tires.

Does anyone using Eibach springs know weather or not ill need a spacer to correct the driver's side lean or are the springs strong enough to prevent that?
