Last question before getting the truck fully serviced this weekend.
    2006, 2.4, 4 cyl, manual transmission, 237.000 miles.
Did lots of research and there are mixed reviews on types of manual transmission oils.
Truck is in FL so its FL weather.
    Narrowed down to two players.
    Amsoil gl4 75-90 vs redline MT-90 75-90
By your own experience and knowledge, wich one is better?BED7586D-BED5-4359-8370-1A0557994CF4.jpg2A07E3EA-9BC3-4C6F-90AD-BEF0BC1A0611.jpg

I've been running MT90 in my 6spd since it had 18k, I'm at 71k now. It improved cold shifting over the stock fluid.
I'm sure you can't go wrong with either choice.

He was just tagging tonered, if you put @ in front of someones name it tags them and they get a notification.

I've never run Amsoil but have run Lucas, Royal Purple and now am running Redline. The Redline is performing as well as any, maybe slightly better than Lucas.
It pumps easy and smells better than the Lucas but I like them both. I bought a gallon so it will be with me for a while. I just switched to the Redline a couple of weeks ago.
The gallon jug with a pump makes refilling the transmission a breeze.

I didn’t buy anything for transfer case. Will get some redline

I'm a fan of MT-90, but I have heard good things about Amsoil and the Motorcraft MT fluids.

I have amsoil in my 2016 and redline in my 2005. Can’t tell the difference vs stock in either case. Probably stick with redline for the future but like Tony said, these all seem to be quality options.

That is it. If you are over 90k, think about the t case. Use the Toyota stuff there.
