I luv it, if I have one complaint about the looks of 05-15 its the gigantic bug eye headlights. Thanks gaud they're gone.

    I think looks fantastic!

I would've said the 05-11 front end, the 12-15 looks fine.

Think you mean 08-11, the 12-15 headlights are about the same size as the 16's. Hardly bug eye.

Definitely wish I held out for the sun roof and improved MPGS but I'd still rather have the last of the second gen than the first of the third.

Make sure to see if the tailgate can be stolen easily (like the 2nd gens...) If so, make sure you do something for theft prevention!

Saw the truck this weekend at the Overland Expo(granted it was the access cab TRD Offroad).. I thought I would like it more in person, but I can't say that I did.. The Toyota PR lady wouldn't open it up, so just had to peak through the windows and such, but from the outside the interior kinda looked cheap. I'll withhold my judgement until I actually get to sit in and drive this new tacoma... But I will say, and aftermarket grill will definitely be needed..

F^CK CHROME! Seriously, F it! It was hard enough cutting open my taillights from my 2011 to remove the last remaining shred of chrome, now they add a chrome grill?!

Agreed. I absolutely hate the chrome side mirrors and door handles on the limited. And then they put the chrome grill on the TRD and not the Limited? Hope they make a few little changes or options as of release.

Def chopped, but that looks sick! Much better than the 16 they're going with.

Don't count on them making any significant changes like that before release. The PR chick at the Overland Expo more or less stated that these are the production ready units. Nothing the aftermarket can't fix though

Can't say I like anything on the outside. I like more of a smooth body and not crisp lines. That underbite grill gots to go!!

Might be a dumb question but how easy would it be to change the door handles and side mirrors to color matching versions.
