Hahaha. I live in interior Alaska. We have two temperatures, Summer time = hot, winter time = hell frozen over. I'm an Army Lieutenant, a compass will drastically reduce my ability to navigate even well traveled routes, and a clock only tells me that I'm late. ignorance is bliss.:itllbuffout::thumbsup:;)

These are improvements, but 2nd gen still looks better imo.

This. I got asked by a newer member what I thought of the 16's and I said I took one look and hauled ass to the dealership to get a 2015 before they were gone....

It would make sense, sorta. If you have crawl control, you probably do a lot of off-roading (or at least you THINK you will be) and that constant bumping/bottoming out/slamming down that can happen might detrimental to a big piece of glass situated horizontally on the roof. I have no data to support this theory.

Looks sweet! I can't wait until you guys buy one and mod it out. It's going to look sweet with the chrome blacked out, nice lift, and tires!

For the first time in months I just noticed across from where I work the overflow storage lot for the T- dealer has Zero 15's. I think their selling out what they have and the 16 might be sooner then expected because they sell a crap load of Taco's. I see the haulers unloading at least once a week to the overflow lot. We all might get a shot at a "real" 16 looksie sooner rather then later.

To me it looks to much like a tundra.

They are popping up more and more at various events. Rock Therapy, Overland Expo, etc. Release date wont change but showing up at these strategically chosen events is definitely a PR move to start building "hype".. After seeing it in person, my opinion is that it will need a fair amount of modding for it to look good. But the good news is that 2nd gen suspension will swap over, so anyone wanting to get one can save money and transfer over their lift..

I am not due for another truck at least for another 3-4years, so hopefully the truck under-bite will be softened in the mid-cycle refresh. Only have 130K on my 2007 (want to hit ~200K), so still a long ways to go. Overall, the new truck is nice. Not sure where these complaints are about since most on this forum will be replacing the front bumper with some sort of offroad bumper.

Or even this, gosh this is bad:Nissan-Titan_XD_2016_800x600_wallpaper_01.jpg

It's like the designers took every opportunity to make it as ugly as possible. Could have turned out into a decent looking truck.

My biggest complaint is that large grill with all that chrome. I'm not much of a chrome guy already and for that is just ugly.

I totally agree with that. You can see the dust settling on them after about an hour after washing. But when they are clean it looks so nice. Too bad a every little ding is noticeable too. Something about black shows all the nice features and hides little black plastic molding pieces.

A decent looking, functional one. I agree. The nissan' fits the look. The Tacoma's looks like a car rack.
