Thought it was about a grand over invoice, guess its a better deal than I thought. Ended up being $36k out the door after I added the all weather mats and sill protectors.

Just got my TRD Off Road double cab manual transmission for 32,849 out the door.
It also came with: tonneau cover, all weather and carpet mats, mud guards, tow package, paint protection film, window tint, bed mat, and charging cable package. I think I did pretty good.

People here are paying MSRP for these Tacoma's so it was very difficult to talk them down $1,100. I haven't purchased but here is the offer for a 2016 TRD sport DC 4x4 Auto with tow and tech packages. Look normal to everyone?[IMG]

@Tucktuck8 CA, UT, AZ, and NV are a tough markets to buy new Tacomas. I doubt it'll make a difference, but show your dealer the prices from the East Coast. Why not buy a plane ticket to NC and drive home or better yet, buy over the internet and have them ship it to you or a Sonic dealer near you.

The East coast in the Northeast is no better for those under the impression the east is where its at. Dealers are selling them at MSRP as they come off the truck.

I originally wanted to do this since Denver is only about 8 hours away and offering invoice pricing. The thing that is holding me here is that I want to do an "in and out" on privately selling my current car. what that is is I would find someone to buy my car on my own and I would bring them to the Toyota dealership and I would sell the car to Toyota and they would sell it directly to the private party I brought in. This helps me not lose money on a trade in and I still get the benefit of only paying the difference in taxes.

I could get a 130 dollar ticket to Denver and pay Invoice but I would lose about 2,000 (6.85%) on taxes not doing a trade in since my car is worth 27-28k.

TRD off-road DCSB AT. Came with Tow, Premium, Tonnue, all weather mats/sills, and the bed step. Paid 36,7** before taxes. Also got them to replace all 5 tires w/ Duratracs. I feel it went well.

Lease them if you do under 15,000 miles per year. The TACO has ridiculous residuals.
You could lease for 2-3 years trade in and possibly be in an equity position or just buy it out.

How far into the lease? Remember these things hold their value well enough you may be able to sell your truck for what your lease buy out is. Or real close.

Easier said than done. I drive a bimmer now, and I'm not sure if BMW can do a dealer trade in to get me a truck that I want. If they can do that, I'd be happy to take your advice.

I'd pass on the tech package....I personally would use the extra cash for other accessories for the truck. If they're OEM running boards they can be residualized in a lease deal if not go pick out your own and add em on.

I just got close to $2500 off MSRP without even putting up a fight on cape cod. It's not impossible to find a ok deal
