TACOMA 2016 "What Did You Pay?" Thread

I did. Pretty easy just emailing dealers out of state. It's funny I hit up John elway today and they had the truck in stock that I have on order. They told me that it is their policy to not lower their advertised price.

 

Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa. Everywhere else in the Bay Area would only do $500-1,000 under. I had to travel a bit but I couldn't be happier with the deal and buying experience with Freeman

 

In Massachusetts I got 3600.00 off MSRP !!!!

 

2016 double cab trd off road out the door 35400.

 

Did you buy 10 year warranty with it?

I'm looking for a SR DCSB in white with added convenience package. I live in Miami. Anyone can suggest a price I should be paying?

Build the truck that you want and look at the invoice price. I would ask the dealers in your area for the truck at invoice. You would need to know which options you want. What I did was build the truck on Toyotas site and it will give you the codes for each item along with an overall price. Take that list and refer to the thread I've posted above to get your invoice price. Sr trucks don't sell as quickly as the TRD or limited models so you shouldn't have too much of an issue getting this deal done. Hope this helps.

Isn't that the purpose of this thread? For some, me included, this is a good tool to do some research and comparison before buying. I'll be getting one in a month or two and this helps me figure out what is a good deal and what is not.

Also invoice, MSRP and what you actually pay OTD are completely different numbers.

 

I would ask for a little more. My deal was $250 under invoice plus fees. Tax, title, license.

 

Btw a good deal is a matter of opinion not a number. If you're happy with the deal go with it. Enjoy your truck

I've been watching this thread since I'll be buying one in a few months and the trend I've seen is people getting it below MSRP but definitely not below invoice (at least not as usual). You did a pretty good job getting it close to invoice so I'd say that's a sweet deal!!

Mind if I ask where are you located? If in AZ (fingers crossed), which dealership?

I know for a fact u can get way below invoice you just have to work the right deal and find the right dealer I did !!
