From the looks of things, It would seem that I didn't get a very good deal.....kinda "Meh" after seeing all the other prices posted...

 

At the end of the day if you are happy with what you paid and like the truck that's all that really matters.

It's worth noting some of the numbers (especially those involving taxes and trades) are deceiving at first look. Taxes vary by where you live and there's nothing you can do about it, legally at least. Trades reduce the amount of taxes paid and the total out-of-pocket cost of the truck.

How?

 

I paid roughly the same OTD ($33k) for my TRD OR 4x4 w/ tow package. I had them throw floor mats in since they wouldn't come off the price any more.

I didn't feel like I negotiated *that* well either. They didn't come off their sales price too much. I worked them hard on my trade in value, but they basically kept their sale price the same.

I was actually looking for my sell paper but I can't find it but believe me it happened. I did pay my sales guy 200$ under the table for this deal though

 

No doubt. I'm an emotional type of buyer and hate haggling/bartering. I'm very happy with the truck, but think I could have worked a better deal, if not for my lack of skills. Haha.

 

I just kept telling my salesman "No" when he showed me his price. Took about an hour and a half of that, but he finally got close to where I wanted to be (32,400) so I said yes. Had to wait about 10 days from sea stock. Built in TX.

 

I am in Durham and looking for that same truck except in a long bed and quicksand. Would you mind sharing who you worked with? I have not been able to find anything lower then $36,300 OTD.

Certainly not the best price in the thread, but I'm happy with it. I probably could've tried to push for better, but that was their initial offer after telling them what I wanted. I went into the purchase situation hoping for $36K or less. A dealership needs to make a profit to stay in business, and the benefit of zero haggling and not even having to step into the dealership (just two quick phone calls: one to tell them what I want, one to tell me what they can sell for), I'm good with this...
