Absolutely. The SR5 has white needle indicators and it has the multi info display. The contrast is much better with the white on black instrument cluster. Also, I think the SR5 cluster is brighter in general. I still need the brightness turned up, but it may just be me. The backlighting seems better in the SR5.

The SR has the red indicators on black. No contrast, and the backlighting just never seemed bright enough. I was always straining to see the instrument cluster in the SR, and was very frustrated with the SR. I was always trying to turn up the brightness until I nearly twisted the knob off.

I thought originally that all of the Tacoma's had the red indicator needles and the dim cluster until a friend showed me his SR5. That is when I found out only the SR has the red indicators.

    Not enough info.

    MSRP?
    Purchase Price?
    Residual?
    Money Factor?
    Any MSD?
    Tier 1 credit?

Why are you are asking about MSRP on a lease? The payment/downpayment is affected by the price? I thought it was just whatever the lease deal was?

The best way to negotiate the lease is to always start with the actual price first then money factor.

...^^^... IF the real MSRP is that high ... you probably have a good lease deal ... given - the info you furnished.

Yes but don't pay the sticker price when buying or leasing. One of the main reasons manufacturers love leases isn't because they make less money on them.

Would you be better off doing the MSD rather than a down payment? From what I've heard, cash down is a no-no for leases. Also, if you go the MSD route, it will help bring down your money factor....and you get it back at lease end. That's what I'm planning on doing.

    WOW

The reason I asked about the MSRP on the lease is, given the options on the truck, it would make sense to know what the MSRP is. Then you would negotiate the purchasing price of the vehicle. Lease and purchase negotiations initially should be done the same way....

    Hi folks,

I don't get this! Something is wrong..
Everyone on here is getting amazing deals.. So am i doing something wrong??

    I live in Gilbert Arizona.

I walked into the Toyota dealer to trade in my 2014 Camaro 1LE (Yellow Bumblebee with 12K miles), they gave me $27800 for it (i could sell if for $29K)... I said fine, maybe they will give me good quotes on the truck... Here are the 2 quotes i got:

    Quote 1:
White 2016 Tacoma TRD Limited, 4X4, Double Cab, short bed, V6 Automatic + Tech package, Navigation, leather, Tow package and bed folding cover.
    MSRP: $41381
    OTD: $43672

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Quote 2:
White 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road, 4X4, Double Cab, short bed, V6 Automatic + Tech package, Navigation, Tow package and bed folding cover.
    MSRP: $38884
    OTD: $40912

Does anyone else think that those aren't good deals?? Any replies are appriciated

What's your tax rate and are you upside down on your trade?

No one just gives you good deals. Figure out the invoice of the truck you want, and then know the additional price of what the invoice will be increased/decreased by depending on configuration. Start at below invoice, see where you can go. I got my truck for what I believe to be below or at invoice.

Tax is coming out to be 2.58% ($1004.95)
I owe $26.5K on my Camaro.

As novotz above has mentioned.. I need to figure out the invoice prices.. That might help negotiating a better price

I thought some of what you were dealing with was taxes and negative equity. Now it sounds like more of an issue of paying sticker
