Right? Fixed post. That was info from an email from the sales guy, not the final costs.

    MSRP $35,940
    Invoice $34,198
    Price $31703
    "Doc Fee" $300
    Total Before TT&L $32,003

I work for a leasing company that leases 1000 plus cars month, so this deal probably can't be replicated by the average walk in customer. Here in Texas, I see a lot of dealer adds that are printed on the window sticker to look like it's a factory option. It's not uncommon to see $1200 for tint, pinstripe, and nitrogen in the tires. True cost is somewhere around $200. I would get so frustrated trying to get a good price on a Toyota in a Gulf States Toyota Region.

why dont the numbers match the attachment? and what do you have for options on it?

Edit, looking at to many things and posted to fast, thanks ADD. Ok so I see at NADA the base is about 31k invoice and that's what I was trying to figure out.

Was this new? Great deal if this new. Hard to believe they would sell $5000 below invoice.

They can sell at or just about their invoice. Sometimes they will do t just to hit a certain sales goal. Other times they do it strictly for volume. The more they sell the more incentives and kickbacks they get from the manufactures. It's 4K off MSRP not dealer invoice

Any of you recommend any dealerships in Texas? Test drove a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road yesterday and fell in love. Salesman wasted about 3 hours of my life just to give me an invoice identical to the sticker window. I'm thinking I can get a better deal on a 2016 if I look hard enough. After reading several pages on this forum it has me even more pumped to purchase.

Reach out to the dealership in a few days, make an offer of a grand or two less then what your willing to pay. See if they are willing to work with you, but wait a few days

2016 Doublecab TRD Off Road 4x4, Tow package, Mats, TRD air filter, Exhaust tips, mud guards, tie downs. manual transmission.

Invoice is showing as 32,085 (which includes $940 delivery & processing). They added a $582 TDA (Toyota Dealer Advertising fee) not included in that price. They want $33,644 which is 3% over the "invoice" but includes that TDA fee. NADA shows the true invoice as $31,980. Any reason why the market is paying more than invoice for a 2016 Tacoma? What is a good counter offer to the $33,644? I am considering just getting a 2017 if it isn't much more (and get the electric rear window).

    Cheers
