Yes, that's the sale price of the truck. I don't have the paperwork with me right now to see the exact taxes, dealer fees, etc...

They had the truck listed at $35,600 and I bought it for $32,400. Went on Black Friday and they had a lot of Tacomas, but this was the only manual trans. They were pretty willing to deal on it.

Its a 4 door short bed.

Yeah, I had been looking for this particular truck for awhile and this was the lowest price I found between 4 dealers. They beat the next lowest offer by over 1k. Not sure why they were so willing to deal. The truck had 1 mile on it and had not even been set up yet. It still had all of the stickers on it and wasn't listed on their website. It literally just rolled off the truck. I didn't plan on purchasing it though. I just wanted to take it for a test drive. When they offered me that deal, I couldn't resist because I knew that no one was going to beat it. Plus it was hard enough to find that truck in a manual trans in the first place. Very very few around me. Sometimes you just get lucky!

My guess is they were willing to deal because they must have had 20 or so other Tacoma's on their lot and this was a manual trans. I'm sure they have a harder time selling the M/T over the auto.

First, yota is showing you MSPR, what they want you to think you should be paying. Check out NADAdotCOM for invoicing, or there is a sticky at the top of the 3rd gen that also shows invoice. Invoice is what you should be trying to beat when buying a vehicle.

There were a few M/T's near me but most were access cabs or not the color I wanted. I was pretty specific in what I was looking for and was considering ordering or doing dealer trade. I just happened to drive by this dealer on Black Friday and saw the exact one I'd been looking for sitting out front. Lucky I was able to get what I think was a great deal.

No other addons. Just the Sport package, tow package, and all weather floor mats. It has the base stereo that comes standard on the Sport which includes nav and the backup camera. The '17's also come with a power sliding rear window. I think that's the only difference between the '16 and '17

No tech package. Just the bare bones Sport. No way I could have got that price with the Tech pack. Plus I haven't yet seen a manual transmission have the tech package. I guess Toyota assumes that people who want a manual generally lean towards more bare bones features.

I would say that's good. There is another around me that is everything you have except it a manual. They're asking like $38,500 for it. So you paid almost $2k less than that. I'd consider that a pretty good deal.

I traded in my 2012 RAM 1500 Sport, put some additional money down, and financed the rest.
