This issue came up before with the alignment...so I went to my truck (which was made in Mexico) and took a photo during that thread review:

    Here's the other side.

I honestly don’t even look that close to this kind of stuff. These kind of things have been very very common for many years on almost all brands . That’s what shims were for in the auto body world. If my truck was a show piece then yes I would make things perfect . But it’s a truck with a bed that’s composite and is rubber mounted . The hood thing with some time can be adjusted perfect . Bumper again is plastic that clips on ( same thing ) won’t be perfect most of the time

    ^^Agreed.

OP's photos are somewhat noticeable though...and it would annoy me if I didn't notice it before I drove off the lot.

When I took possession of my Sport, I did a walk through around it and wasn't intently looking at how the panels aligned.

Any flaws I notice now are just something I accept after owning it 2+ years. lol

So, anyone buying a new vehicle...do a thorough inspection before driving off.

I get it with this truck . But I do say when you go over anything with a fine tooth comb you find stiff almost all the time. But your right when you pick a new vehicle up you really should go over it and inspect it . If you don’t like something at that point bring it up

Had to go look at my hood. The seems are uniform in width, though the hood could probably move to the right 1mm if I wanted both to be symmetrical.
Good enough for the women I date.
