    Hi.

I am in the process of a build for my Tacoma. Does anyone have the dimensions for a leer 180 6'2" bed? im interested in the roof height from the bed entire length. I would like to build upper cabinet the entire length of the truck, may not work with angles of the cap. i would like to get the build completed before my cap gets here. (4weeks out) I've atttached a picture of the concept. Thanks Build.jpg

I have an ARE MX, it's a hightop like the 180. My floor to ceiling height is about 3'6" for my build.

This is what I have sketched out so far:

I would guess you're going to have to tilt your cabinet in more on the cabinet, it's sloped inwards a good bit. You may be able to see that well with this pic:

    Welcome to the forum.

If I was thinking about doing this, I'd find someone who has the same truck and cap. Then I'd do my own measurements.
Your Leer dealer should be able to help you find someone who'd let you get some measurements.

    :fingerscrossed:

Thanks for the information. That's a great build you have started.

Unfortunately Leer views that as intellectual property and will not share thier dimensions, seems ridiculous to me. I've been asking around my area for a truck to get some measurements from, there are no local leer dealers and only a few longbed with leer 100 on them no 180 that I have found yet.

If anyone has this set up Gen 3 with longbed and Leer 180. I would be greatful for any help with measurments.

    Thanks again.

Have you given much thought about how you're going to cool it off? I did a similar thing with a full size pick up back in the 70's. It can get unbearable hot even with the screened windows open. I ended up with a fan mounted in a window, ran off of an auxiliary battery. That helped a lot, but there's probably something much better available now.
