    Same thing as people doing it with standard coilvers and cranking them up

    I would have helped more if I could have understood what was being said. In any case, a 3 inch body lift is a bad idea, and unless the op is going to regear 37s are going to kill power and gas mileage.

    i used to have a 99 ram 1500 with a stock solid axle, i had a 5" skyjacker and a 3" body lift. was running 37s. it looked good but being a little older now, i wouldn't do it again. i would listen to most of the advice against it. do it right.

    I'm going to be on 37s with 3" lift, before I SAS the bitch.

    9" of lift?! Even 6 is huge...

    Well here is my truck, 9" lift (6 in suspension and 3in body) w 37s. Regeared with 5.29s. Drives perfect no problems. Good power and still close to 20mpg. [​IMG]

    5.29's with 37's is near stock ratio. I should be getting better then that with my SAS and the sc.
