That's fine, on a side note body lifts that are over an inch are stupid. If you want to get the body and the bed up off the frame just hack the mounts and move then up. They were never to under go the stresses that a body lift puts on them.

x2- It seems like many threads on this forum get polluted by idiots saying this or that is "gay" or "stupid". It's not helpful or constructive in any way. Where is a moderator when you need one?

You have a 2.7l double cab? That's rare. And OP, its your truck, do what you want, I beat the hell out of a 92 isuzu pickup with a 3" body lift, never had a problem. Just use grade8 bolts, and locktite

Im not kicking anybody in the balls, im sry if I come off as an asshole. Theres plenty of bodylifts threads across any fourmn. Any little bit if searching will show someone the kind of responses they will get. And ok ill help, why not just trim the fenders like most people do? I just see no point have a truck on 37s to daily drive that ifs. It does not take 9 inches to fit 37s, here's some prime examples of how to fit larger tires with marginal lift. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/toyota-truck-4runner/877646-low-riding-toyota-pics.html
My big issue is having a 3 inch body lift on top of the 6 inch susp lift, it will make it way top heavy. And here is some info on body lifts, http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/BodyLiftKit.shtml

Sometimes people are crass about it but advice was given. Don't do it, there are much better ways. . . He doesn't have to take the advice given at all, but it was given.

I would not trust the IFS to handle 37's. the accelerated wear on components and chances of breakage simply aren't worth it, 35's would be a better way to go and I'd do some trimming to fit them- no way would I run a body lift! I've never run a body lift on anything nor do I ever plan to. Ugly waste of money! I'd run smaller tires before I'd run a body lift. (well, not really- I've always just trimmed the fenders until the bigger tires fit!)

LMAO at this! Definitely sig worthy!!!
