that's almost the norm over here (I live 10 min north of him)...there are some full size trucks with blocks the size of my leg...but not a spek of dirt on them :) lots of them 2wd because lack of snow and no wheeling intended

ain't no one got the balls to chop shit up like you do

only cause you haven't engaged 4wd :p jk

a little bro dozerish but it floats his boat so...

    x2

:slowclap: finally somewhere you can use that

if he has extended LCA's I hope this isn't the guy that made his "custom" Long Travel kit… thing he welded that thing with a soldering iron

    TRUTH

You are a little out of line here. what is your definition of "functional" cause I think he has bigger tires than you or I and could go over a lot more just because of his clearance…

if he has 9" of lift its probably a 6" lift with 3" lift coils on it… his ground clearance is now 3" higher than yours… tuck the 37" tires under it and thats another 5" of clearance… so he's got a good 18" of ground clearance in the front and 5 or more in the rear

Why is everyone getting so butthurt, especially over the one or two people who appear to be butthurt over OP's truck. All the butthurt at the butthurt is starting to form into a butthurt merry-go-round :p.

90% of us just said 9" lifts aren't for us. That's an opinion, not a knock on the OP. We almost all told him good job on getting it together because it clearly is pushing the threshold of what is easy to do without hacking or cutting up his Tacoma. Now how about we all let OP have his thread back and let him answer questions about his truck like his original post stated?

Curious to see more pics and parts list OP

I'm assuming 6" drop bracket with 3" coils stacked on top

It would seem so. I also didn't see any CV axles in that first picture one of the posters blew up. Is this a PreRunner? If so why is he talking about his CV's screaming...

Maybe I'm just blind and can't see the front CV axles.

This truck could possibly be Munson'd and Beavis'd at the same time, it belongs in the 3rd gen section.

Beavis'd stands alone, but agreed, 3rd gen.

I'm interested in how it was done, more just for curiousity. It doesn't really look all that bad IMO. looks pretty mean and sort of dwarfs those full size behind it. It's unique and I like it.
