Tacoma Aftermarket Black/Smoke LED Tail Lights

Put them on the day of the Original Post. Beginning of June. I sold my chrome ones to go black. So much better IMO and don't look like honda civic ricer tails like the LED OEM ones with all that chrome.

 

i feel ya, i love LED's but some tail lights just look ratchet... do you think the black would go well with the red on mine?

 

Those look good nice and clean and not to crazy. I bought some 2011's tails for my 2006 and used niteshade on them to tint them out. Niteshade works well but you have to know how dark you want them. Even with 1 coating they can get very dark cause it gets darker as it dries. I did 1 slight mist over mine and they came out lite smoke which is what I wanted.

 

Melmo I will gladly sale you my stock led lights so I can get some of the black ones

 

IMO Black goes well with anything. Considering I am a UGA fan Black and Red look really good together

nope not the same. Look at those and the ones in the OP at the center lights (the actual lights that come on when braking). I looked at those too but I like how the center lights on the ones in the OP look just like the OEM lights and not just a cluster of individual smaller lights all bunched together.

 

I've had the tail lights in the OP for a about 7 months, like many others on the forum. They seem like they are ok this far. Nothing crazy.
They work well with led signals and reverse lights too...

Coming up on a year with my black depo tails and have had no leaking or leds fail.

 

I have had mine since I posted this with no leaks, no lights out...

 

They look really good on your truck too!

 

Just ordered a set. They should look good on my 14 MGM!
