I did the hot rod thing for many years but got tired of the cost per mile for them. I moved 1.5miles down a dirt road 20years ago and ended up selling the last of my hot rods recently--a 71 Vette.

I'm a stupid idiot tinkerer ex-mechanic so ended up having to have something to wrench on and started geeking out on garden tractors. I like to learn new things so I taught myself about hydraulics, added spool valves and hydraulic cylinders to a Cub Cadet 3240 GT and fabbed a hitch to mount a bucket to it on the front and a hydraulic lifting (sleeve) hitch to the back so I could blade and plow. Now I do tractor work on my 24 acres with my little GT.

Taco is mine, and the 14’ Rav is my wife’s. Love driving the Rav, lots of pep, pounds through the snow, it has plenty of room in the back seat and the trunk. I feel like Rav’s are under appreciated for what they are these days.

Stock AF. My 68 Bronco and 2000 2.5RS get the mods.
68 ford bronco with a just-started restoration, 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS that I'm bring back to its proper, deserved condition, wife has a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek that she bought new, and somewhere in a field, I heard she has a 70 mustang coupe that's waiting for a resto. That last line is no exaggeration, we've been together for 16 years and I have yet to actually see it... I can't really explain that one, we're all car people, lol.

Maybe soon, the snakes should be too cold to move...

You would be very surprised at just how little money I make. I'm just very careful about how I spend, I don't waste (money or other stuff) and I take good care of my stuff. I'm VERY deliberate with my money...I don't mind spending, but I know exactly where every penny goes. Everything you see there is paid for, because when I get paid, get a bonus, or extra money...it ALL goes goes towards any debt, not a vacation or something else. GETTING AND STAYING OUT OF DEBT IS THE ONLY WAY.

Oh...and I'm 58 years old...the above method works fantastic, but unless you make a ton of money...it does take time to yield big fruit!

Fun for in town when it's nice out. Just need to get it to where it's not absolutely terrifying above 55.

A buddy of mine has a 1997 four-cylinder one just like that. But in blue. He loves it especially in the summertime and it is a fun vehicle. But 55 might be top and on it :D
