Looking to sell my 2006 ARE Tonneau cover LS11. It fits the short bed model (2005-2009) for 4x4 and Prerunners. It is painted Radiant Red from ARE and is carpeted on the underside. It is nearly perfect and has all the componets necessary to install. I am located in Central VA, and am looking to get $400.00. Paid $950.00 about two years ago. If interested I can add or send pictures.

I am considering buying one of these but my truck is Desert Sand. May I ask why you are selling?
    Why "near perfect?"
Do you have any idea if these can be repainted to match my color?

I traded in the 06 Taco for a new 08 Tundra. After negotiating the sale I asked them if I could keep the cover to recoop some of the expense of buying another for the Tundra. It can be repainted no problem. I wrote nearly perfect as it was on the truck for 1 1/2 years. No dents, scratches, or bruises though. Maybe one tiny chip mark around the key hole.

You have the deck rail system right. The cover secures to it.

Would this be a matter of transferring it from your truck to mine? Another words, the issue of transport is my concern. I to would need to meet you at a prearranged location. Although I'm much closer since I live in between Baltimore and DC.

I need to call my local body shop also to get an estimate on a color change for my Desert Sand Tacoma.
