OP meant a remote starter. But there are aftermarket remote starters that have built in temp sensors and will start automatically and run for 20 min and then shut off. And will do it every 4 or so hours. Seems wasteful, but it is useful if temp regularly drop to 40, 45 below and lower.

I had an older version of this system in AK:
    https://astrostart.com/Products/Digital/4325/AF-RFS2625.aspx

    "Low Temperature Mode operation
Low Temperature Mode uses the settings for Timer Start Mode in
addition to temperature and battery level to automatically start
the engine. Activation begins the countdown timer. When the
timer expires the vehicle interior temperature and battery level is
checked and, if the Temperature is above 100°F/38°C, below
0°F/-18°C, or the battery level is below 10.5V, the engine will
start and the Remote Start On message will be sent to the remote
controls. When the Remote start runtime expires the engine shuts
off, the Remote Start Off message is sent to the remote control
and the countdown timer restarts. Low Temperature Mode is exited
    after the final start.

Note The temperature and battery thresholds can be changed by
an authorized Directed dealer if a higher or lower threshold
    is desired."

Need both. I had an engine block heaters, and remote starters in my personal cars. It took a long time for a V6 engine to warm up the truck enough to turn my seat from a slab of concrete to a car seat. Remote starter meant I had a soft seat/no ice on the inside of the windshield 20 min sooner.

To add a little more from discussion with my local Toyota Dealer... they told me mine is not a Subscription version. I also never set-up or used the app for my "Remote Auto Start". I have always used the key fob with Lock button... push once (lights flash), push twice (lights flash), push 3rd & hold, then with lights flashing several times the vehicle starts. But it no longer works... again does anyone have a way to contact Toyota Corporate? -thanks!

When I called, I ended up talking to a generic customer service agent. No clue about anything, was just reading steps from their scripted responses.
She could not answer any questions with any detail regarding the entire issue, other than just advising me to accept the consent and it'll work.
    Then pushing the subscription services.

Edit: And be prepared to be on hold for a while.

Thats the messed up part. I never signed up either. I got about 3 years. Toyota has the ability to make a change to the computer remotely.
I wonder what else they change/ monitor without our knowledge.
