So I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Tacomabeast headlights and taillights. As mine were cracking and really yellow. I decided to go with with chrome for the front ones as I really didn't like the black ones. I chose the red clear to keep an OEM look on the rears. The taillights were easy to install and had no problems. I was comfortable enough changing them. However I wasn't too sure about doing the front. That day I was already at the dealership picking up some parts, so I decided to ask just for the heck of it. They quoted me 400....per headlight. Apparently it would take half a day to install the headlights. So instead I looked up some videos and posts. It was pretty simple except for the hidden bolt, but once I got it out it was pretty straightforward. In total it took me about a hour to do both headlights. They look pretty cool so I'm satisfied. I'll add night time pictures later in the evening.

Looks great didn’t know they had a clear option. Definitely looks more stock. Would love to see a pic of the taillights at night

    $400.. damn.

I just had a headlight replaced at the dealership on their dime. Had no idea I cost them “$400” plus the cost of an OEM headlight. LOL

    truck looks great!

They are the chrome ones. Same price as black ones.

Yea, crazy. I think they take off the bumper or something in order to get to the hidden screw. How'd you get yours replaced free?

I bought used and the passenger headlight was replaced recently. The drivers side was faded and I said I’d buy if that was fixed (among other things)

So they replaced it for me.

Those headlight are the next "major upgrade" I'm doing to mine.
Glad someone else got the chrome instead of the black.
I think when I do I want to upgrade the projector and paint some of the interior chrome the body color (silver streak mica).
I just wish they would make a lightly smoked lens on the the chrome ones like I currently have :notsure:

I bought headlights and taillights as well. Pretty easy install except for that bolt, that sucks. Way easier if you remove part of your wheel well liner

Somewhat brighter. I could see the difference since mine were all yellow, faded, and cracked. Got mine on sale with code LLOD I don't know if it still works though. Pretty cool headlights.

Yea that bolt was pretty annoying. Mine was a different liner. Which had me confused cause I couldn't see any of the screws that held it in. I got it off eventually but still wasn't very comfortable.
