If you want to run a softopper over your roof top tent then these are the bars you need. They also work great just for your roof top tent. If you would like a set message me. $325.00 plus shipping.

These bed bars allow your tent to rest only at bed height?

It is above bed height, has to be for the bars of the topper to have an area to fold into. This setup allows your topper and your roof top tent to be fully functional. If you would like something taller I can definitely help you out. These bars have very specific clearances needed to make all this work.

I'm confused by your pictures and your description. The tent is clearly inside the Softopper, not over top of it. Which product are you selling?

    Edit

I apparently can't read. You said Softopper OVER an RTt, not the other way around. Back to the coffee pot for more bean juice.

Yes, I hoped to have a set finished soon but had some shipping damage on some tooling. I'll be getting something together in a couple weeks.

Yes, when I started all this I wanted Pelfreybilt sliders but didn't want to pay shipping. I have 20+ years experience in metalwork with the last 10 in Nuclear service. After leaving to spend more time with my family I decided to buy everything to make my own. This is when I was asked about making the bed bars which has begun its own thing. So between building bed bars and helping in the family cabinet shop I promise to get some sliders as soon possible.

I will send a PayPal invoice for payment but I do not transfer the money until after I ship. I financially back my business, I will not take your money until the parts are shipped.

Check out my set up. If you did something that used the bed sliders to slide out to the back with something to prop it would be perfect. Ive been thinking of getting a bed slider and then mounting the tent on that.

Do you know the max size of tent this would work with? As far as length and width?

Whatever will fit inside the topper dimensions should be fine. I make the mounting tabs to your tent specifications, as long as the tent is smaller than the cab of the truck you should be ok.

I finally got some pictures that show the bed is completely open and the tent is above the bed.
