This would be be a great way for the dealer to deny your suspension warranty claims.

Toyota is pretty lame with what they display, compared to the info they actually monitor. I don’t know why they don’t show you more.

My work F150 shows all kinds of cool stuff and it’s a low-trim level. It has digital transmission temp, oil pressure, oil temps, oil level, coolant temp, power distribution (percent power to each wheel....actually very handy in 4WD when you are trying to figure out where the slip is), steering rack position (extremely handy when off-road.....when you really need to know if you are going to drive off a cliff or not!!!), as well as the things Toyota gives you at TRD level trim. Also it shows which gear the AT transmission is actually in!!!.....why can’t Toyota do these things? How expensive is software options????.....it’s not like Toyota can’t just program extra screens for next to nothing.

It’s lame-sauce. Like, if Toyota is going to go “all-in”with these fancy touchscreens and all, why not give us ALL the available info without having to hook up a scan gauge.

In all honesty, if the load is centered over the rear axle, the spring rate of your rear springs (which is admittedly tricky, and assuming they’re not shot) should tell you how much load you’ve put in the bed.
