Reinforces Tacoma rear sheet metal bed channels known to tear over time!!
    • Rear sheet metal channels crack over time. Reinforce factory rear bed channels at the tail gate that are known to tear with added camper shell weight, bed racks and off road use.
    • 3/16 mild steel laser cut brackets locate using existing factory holes. Drilling is required for installation.
    • Ideal for any Tacoma that wants to prevent bed flex.
    • Includes all grade 8 mounting hardware and install instructions and semi-gloss black powder coated brackets.
    • 3 eyelet tabs are designed to offer additional cargo strapping points to secure your gear during transit. An additional flat tab is also supplied to both sides to install a Buggy Whip / CB Antenna / Collision or Cargo Light.
    • No load ratings are implied.

I've got those on to "to buy list". Dig the extra anchor points.

Are there any installation instructions available, that can be posted?

I would like to know what needs to be drilled.

At this time we are unable to do a group buy on them.

We are currently waiting for Total Chaos to get more built up and sent out to us (1 week eta), so if you are interested in a set I would suggest getting the order in before this batch is all bought up.

    Found a post by @1MK :

"Picked up a set of Total Chaos bedside stiffeners. Was crazy to see how much the bed straightened when tightening the bolts. Yikes lol. Now I need to get off my ass and figure out a clean way to tie the rack into the bed mounting bolts. "

Thanks for the post. Further research reveals what has to be drilled:

Dang these are going quick. I didn't realize there was such and issue with the bed getting tweaked.

My tailgate has a massive gap on the left side and a tiny gap on the right side. Looks really bad and also like the bed may be jacked up somehow.

I've never abused the truck or even had a REAL payload in there....

    Fuck.

If I get these or make something similar I'll have to remove my bottle opener. Worth it? Not sure yet :D
