    I agree..

    Or you can offer options:

Kit with switch in the bed pocket.

Kit with switch in the left drop down pocket by the steering wheel

    Or no switch at all.

    Or price different switches.

Just a few ideas tossed around

I mean if people want to do that they can. I would have to supply more wire if that was there choice

there is a nipple like piece that is in the gasket, but no cables go through it as it's closed off. snip the tip (pardon the term) and you can easily run wires straight through the gasket (the way it was on my 07 and 09). as for extra wire, everything outside of the wire needed to hook between the lights will be customer dependent. they may want a different ground, run the switch different places, etc. i'd give enough to do a basic install and anything else is on them. as you can already tell, no kit will please everyone.

That's what I'm saying. It only takes about 23 ft from the bed to the battery for this install. And I I was going to give 25ft

There is also the grommet around the emergency brake cables under center console to get wire into cab. I have cb coax coming in there as well as temp probe, fog and light bar wiring coming in thru firewall grommet. Also one under the driver chair too.

I like the original idea for the switch placement so you can keep tge original switch you were going to use in for my light kit.

Subbed. I'd be interested for sure

I bought strip lights to make my own, but I can out those in my toolbox now if your kit isn't too pricey

Ok so it is hard to decide on a switch so I'm just going to find one and go with it. besides the ones that are already my guinea pigs. It will look something like this. when the official list starts people can choose what colors they would like if its available. I will be going to radio shack to see what options they supply as well

    Or a mini toggle switch.

Yes you can tie into a wire if that's what you want to do. Yes LEDs don't use a lot of power

Most of the power is off once the truck is off. If you run the wire to a hot wire you can have power whenever you wish.
