Tacoma bed rail removal

    Do you mean the plastic pieces on top of the bed sides?
    If so, at the cab side and the tailgate side of the rail you will see a small plastic tab that extends down into the bed, with a round 1" button looking thing in it. With a small flathead screwdriver lift the round piece out of the tab. Once that comes out, just lift the bed rail cap from one end to the other. There are clips holding it down, but they pop out.

    Bump.

    There’s a few threads on this but I didn’t see pics. Figured I post ‘em up.

    I used a non marring pry tool to remove the two body clips on the ends. You won’t damage the loops if you pop these out first.

    The rest just pop right up.

    Also, the bed rail accessory rails are removed with a T30, not T10

    Leave it parked in a bad neighborhood overnight.

    *this is also a good way to remove the tailgate, wheels and tires and that pesky radio...
