Tacoma Bed Storage Compartment Lock Kit

if i read right, they will be keyed alike. A kit has 2 locks which would be one for each side with 4 matching keys. That should be 2 locks a like and 4 keys.

if im wrong or misread, maybe the seller can correct me.

I only keep ratchet straps in there but still I don't those stole or my doors. I lucked up on the doors. My truck didn't have any went i bought it and just kept watching marketplace and finally got some.

 

makes sense. I'll probably try to find a couple extras just in case

Has anyone found a combination lock for the bed compartment? I generally like to leave my keys with the truck when I go to the beach/hiking/camping so I don’t lose them on the trail…and don’t want to have to worry about another key for my keys.

EDIT: Yes I know about the hitch safes, but I feel like that is an invitation to everyone knowing there’s something valuable in there.
