Tacoma black emblem OEM 75427-04020-C1 vs original

Hi, in case if you are planning to replace your original Tacoma chrome emblem with OEM 75427-04020-C1 black emblem - here is what you need to know:
- the original emblem is longer
- the OEM 75427-04020-C1 is a shiny black
- the OEM 75427-04020-C1 comes with a back side adhesive pre-installed, just peel the clear plastic tape and stick it to the car.

75427-04020-C1 is the emblem design for second gen is it not, hence why it is of a different font and size?

75428-04010 seems to be the OEM part number for the 2016 chrome badges. I am guessing there isn't an OEM black part yet.

They aren't OEM but https://nox-lux.com/product/2016-tacoma-black-out-kit/ appears to have the new design for 2016.

 

I just figured out that it would be easier to order the OEM black after my original chrome/painted black began peeling. Didn't pay much attention to the font and what generation it was made for.
