Tacoma boating ruined my starter

^ It's more of a recovery than a joke. OP's attempt at making a funny went right over my head and with his follow up, it didn't land as well. Someone else needs to write his material at this point.

 

The fact that you couldn’t extrapolate sarcasm from it doesn’t mean it wasn’t sarcastic in nature.

See this is what happens when you don't have an ugly hood scoop to go with the snorkel...

You have to create vacuum pressure... Air comes through the fake hood scoop and creates a vacuum that pushes water out the top of the snorkel and away from the electronics. This also prevents hydrolocking.

 

Some grumpy folks round these parts!

 

Does this also work with a real hood scoop or does it have to be fake? Asking for a friend....

Has to be fake... A real one would send the water into the intake first, then be shot out the injectors straight into the catalytic converter.

The fake ones create the vacuum you need to drive through lakes, and if you point the snorkel down can actually propel you through the water... But only if you have an OV tune... Of course.

 

Something I, I mean my friend, is going to have to look into for sure.

odd, with the snorkel installed, I figured they doubled as a boat.
