^ It's more of a recovery than a joke. OP's attempt at making a funny went right over my head and with his follow up, it didn't land as well. Someone else needs to write his material at this point.

The fact that you couldn’t extrapolate sarcasm from it doesn’t mean it wasn’t sarcastic in nature.

See this is what happens when you don't have an ugly hood scoop to go with the snorkel...

You have to create vacuum pressure... Air comes through the fake hood scoop and creates a vacuum that pushes water out the top of the snorkel and away from the electronics. This also prevents hydrolocking.

Does this also work with a real hood scoop or does it have to be fake? Asking for a friend....

:rofl:I'm at work and bored out of my mind. Not grumpy at all but you sir, have made it quite entertaining! Don't take TW too seriously and better yet, the internet.

As I sit here listening to a client babble on and on about something, your post as achieved excellence. It pairs well with my coffee that was made with non conflict beans.

Glad to see you're at least enjoying your Tacoma as it's intended for.

Has to be fake... A real one would send the water into the intake first, then be shot out the injectors straight into the catalytic converter.

The fake ones create the vacuum you need to drive through lakes, and if you point the snorkel down can actually propel you through the water... But only if you have an OV tune... Of course.

The sarcasm might have worked if he included the second picture and some story.

Some people just can't do humor.

It's taken a couple dozen water crossings to fail. Could have been worse!
