I want to wire my third brake light on my topper to be easily disconnected. Would it be possible to buy the “Tacoma 2016-2023 Brake T Harness” from you with an additional 2 pin connector so I can wire it all together with an easy plug in?

Yes, but you'd still need to connect a pigtail to your brake light, though I include supplies for that. The other question/complication is routing the feed from the taillight cavity to the bed. There is a small crack in the rail near the tailgate which can fit bare wire but it's not big enough for a connector. So, the kit I've sent in the past would be:

    1. Brake T
    2. Bare wire feed with female connector
    3. male waterproof cap
    4. male pigtail to connect to brake light

You'd have to connect 4 wires, once routed through the crack you'd do brake + and ground in the taillight cavity then shrink/seal it all up. Also the pigtail to the brake light wire, + and ground there.

Details on making connections with the supplies I include:

An alternative to the above is a deutsch 2 position flange. This could be fully plug and play but you'd have to drill a hole in the side of the bed to fit it, typically using a step bit, and then screw the flange to the bedside, possibly sealing it.

I don't have a specific sku on these but you can DM me if you're interested (start a conversation below my username/logo) and we can make sure you get what you want. Rough ballpark would be +$20 for the disconnect as described at the top and +$30 for a deutsch flange which is a bit more install work but kind of cleaner when disconnected.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was thinking of going with the amp pigtail one you have pictured and I think I would need what you listed first. And my current plan was to store it in the little box on the passenger side (so tapping in to the passenger side tail light). If you think that would be possible and enough wire to get to the little box I will DM you to are arrange. I’ll attach a pic of the little box I mean (I can also drill through this one to feed the wires)

So you're going to route wire from the shell brake light into the cubby? By drilling through the door? And then connect it in there? I wouldn't really like that myself but everyone is different.

The brake T has 12" leads and I'd typically do 24" to the female AMP connector then the male pigtail is 2-3" or so. If you want longer, just tell me how long you want. The superpacific setup I do is 60" long.

You can also just get your own male and female quick disconnects from just about anywhere too.
