I don't doubt you. While I like the look of the Fords, actually had the chance to take a fairly long trip in one over bumpy 3rd world roads and liked the suspension - the fact it's a Ford and I've had horrible problems with a previous Ford I owned means I won't buy one.

Some things that Ridgeline does better are: acceleration, transmission, handling, interior size, payload capacity, fuel economy, ride quality.

I saw the next generation Colorado doing some pre production testing on my way in to work today. I still like my Tacoma better, but I would probably choose this over the current Ridgeline.

Masculine exterior, feminine interior. I'm always amazed at how terrible Chevrolet is at designing an interior:

About the only thing they do right on interiors is their fullsize pickups.

Haven’t a clue. Perhaps my terminology was poor. I shouldn’t of said a lot. But definetly a few on here plus probably a bunch more who aren’t on Tacoma world. I wouldn’t say the 3rd gen is unreliable but like everything, they have problems

The bottom line on this whole Ridgeline bashing not a "real truck" debate boils down to people like and support what they bought. It doesn't matter that the Ridgeline is better in almost all measurable categories. Looks are subjective, so all the talk about looks means nothing as far as capability. As far as Tacomas sell more, of course they do they have two plants making nothing but Tacos. The Ridgeline shares production with other models in Alabama and never planned on selling 20,000/cars per month.

I read lots of Mid-size truck boards and I can say that far more Tacoma owners have converted to the Ridgeline than Ridgeline owners converting to Tacomas.

uh... Kind of hard to convert ridgeline owners because there aren't that many of them!

"Honda doesn't sell a lot of ridgelines because they just don't want to" Everyone is just jealous they bought their crappy Tacoma and Honda wont make enough ridgelines to go around!
