Until now I more interested with the Shockworks, so far. There are at least three different companies with almost the same kind of product. Another kind of bumpers will be the bull bars... but no not interested on them and the brush bars (ranch style bumpers) I'm interested on them but on a second term. Does any one has pictures of these ones? (installed on Tacoma’s of course).

I want the Shrockworks too. It's more than the All Pro, but it's heavier and thicker. I have some close ups of the mounting for the Shrockworks. I had heard they needed holes drilled, but Nick at Shrockworks told me that it didn't (and sent me the close ups of the mounting) when I emailed them about fitting a front receiver with it.

Although, the heavier weight means heavier front springs, and the All Pro is modular so damaged sections could be replaced...

I like the shrokworks as well, but that price is high and then you have shipping!! I will do my homework on this purchase because it will make or break the looks and or body if in a wreck!! I also want to mount a front receiver for my surf rod holder. The mounted receiver will not hold any more that a 100 lubs at any given time. This receiver would never have any type of strain. I'm in the process of trying to get pics of top and inside views of both the shrokworks and allpro for that main reason. The ARB is out due to them only having turn signals for the Tacoma. I know the guys at TRDparts4u.com, a bunch of them are in TTR(Toyota Trail Riders), the club I joined this past year, and Jacque, the owner of the red taco in this thread, and some other in the club have told me that a bunch of them where involved with ARB and that front bumper. Bottom line is that they considered the Taco the only TRUE offroad vehicle that toyota had at the time and was made for abuse and use, back then the turn signals where at the bottom of the bumper. Now don't get me wrong about what I said, the 4runner and Landcruiser are great offroaders, but Toyota did not have those in mind for offroading. Now I say don't quote me on that, because I had a few cold ones at the time of that explanation, because I was trying to see if one them had any freinds at ARB and could modify one for me. They said that it was made for use not looks? I think? You guys can call Jacque at Toyota of Dallas/TRDparts4u.com any time and tell him who you are and where you got his name and he and all of the other parts personel there will help you with any questions!

Here are the up close of Shrockworks mounting.

    th_shrockmount2_8987c3d74337f5839a9054e209c08dc986f8efd6.jpgth_shrockmount1_1911bf8cffd2a96297354be34429daa5bab469e6.jpg

Per Nick at SW, he said the arm going back along the frame rail is tight to the rail until it angles inward slightly (and they have a spacer for the furthest rearward bolt). He thought perhaps a front hitch could be bolted OVER that arm if you drilled matching holes in that arm and add a spacer plate to the hitch to push IT's mount arms out that extra 1/4" or whatever.

For reference, look at the mounting diagram for a Curt front hitch.

Email shrockworks. That's how I got those. I don't think they post anything like that on their site. I emailed them trying to figure out if I could put a hitch on the front, and they sent me those.

Where did you get the 1409 price for the shrockworks bumper? When I read this thread I figured that the 1409 was the base price then plus the extras, but It comes to I am on the website and it comes to 1409 with the black powder coat, 2 sets of PIAA lights and a pair of shackles for pullin those jeeps out. I don't know if this confused anyone else but im just clearing this up. Makes the bumper seem a lot more desirable for me, except for the 190$ shipping charge to the us (canada would probably be more). I am going to try hard to find a company closer to home first.

You are right corywilson13, this is the price with all those features. I can tell you so far this is the one I like best, next will be the ARB.

Im at work and I will prob have a bit of free time today so I am going to look into each one, and record the price with the options I want, and then include the shipping. If I get time I will post my conclusions.

I have changed the description on first page, so future visitors avoid this misinterpretation I involuntarily did, now it shows on red text what is included in those $1,409.00 USD. Thanks.

    All Pro
the front bumpers ship unpainted and Bumper 2 does
not come with the hoop in the center. The company
ships out of California but I could not find a
    price on shipping.

    Front Bumper 1 $699
    http://www.all-prooff-road.peachhost.com/ct_PR2103t-ap-05.htm

    Front Bumper 2 $699
    http://www.all-prooff-road.peachhost.com/ct_PR2103t-ap-05-sm.htm

    Rear Bumper $499
    http://www.all-prooff-road.peachhost.com/ct_PR2200t-ap-05.htm

    Shrockworks

    Front Bumper $1409
Options I included are the black powder coat, 2
sets of PIAA lights (small fogs and larger
driving) and a pair of shackles. Shipping is $189
to the US, probably more for canada, they are
based out of texas, you can pick up your order and
save on the high shipping price, they will also
knock the $189 down to $149 if you can have it
shipped to a business with a loading dock.
Note: The 4" PIAA lights are $225(fog) and $216(white) through PIAA and $199 with the bumper. The 6" are around $230 through PIAA and $199 with the bumper. The 7" are $300 through PIAA and $279 with the bumper.

    ARB
I have been fighting with the ARB site, so you can
do your own research, they should learn that PDF
sites suck. I did find out that lots of local
    dealers carry ARB products though.

    Road Armor
Free shipping on bumper orders in march!
The road armor site also needs a lot of work as
most of the links don't work.

If you Can fill in some my my blanks feel free to copy my post and add what you can, or msg me the additions and ill edit it.

Great complimentary information... My recommendationis to keep it close to Shockworks (60%) and ARB (40%)
