The manual has a much larger hole for the shifter than the auto does. It's not a deal breaker, but it's not a plug and play swap.

Also, a little punctuation would be nice...

What about as fare as the wiring harness is that going to be the same ? Or do I need to swap them from cab to cab ?

The wiring is going to be different due to the auto vs manual. You should be prepared to strip your cab down and movE your entire interior harness to the new cab.

Have u guys ever heard of anybody doing this and how long it took ?

Also was think about cutting my existing cab at where the rails are going up to the roof and then rite across where the bottom of the seats are bolted down there is a factory seem there and basically just remove the hole back half of the cab and roof and then take the donor cab and cutting it the same way and then welding the 2 back together which do u think would be the least amount of work ????

Swap the cab. It's not that difficult. You can strip a cab in 1/2 a day. The shifter hole will need to be cut. Block off the clutch master cyl hole. Transfer wire harness, and the interior you want to use. Also swap the pedals. Cutting the cab would be a lot of work. Body work and paint too.

I was going to repaint the truck anyway would u still feel the same way ???

Also I just had the AC completely gone through that's another reason I wasn't wanting to go through all that but if u still think switching the cab is easier than so be it

Best time to repaint the cab with nothing installed. A/C is a bummer.

Cab swaps are easy just take your time. Label everything and start swaping. Moving the cab will take 3 people to do it quickly Cutting and welding is a bad idea. Nothing wI'll line up trust me and @Skorfab

Unless your a very experienced fabricator and gifted auto body repair person I wouldn't attempt a chop job and trying to swap roofs. @Irongrave and I cabs sapped an 84' truck with an 88' body. The 84' had been rolled and the roof was chopped with a donor roof ready to go but the more we got into it the more of a pain in the ass it looked. Everything should work though, it really wasn't as difficult as I though it would be, possibly easier for you as I did a whole dash swap as well. The wiring harness in the engine bay has a plug near the front that will make your life a little easier. You have toworry about EFI wiring with yours I'm assuming which I did not which probably helped as well as not worrying about saving the heat or AC system but it's all made to come apart. It's a 94' Toyota, get some thick rubber matting and glue/secure it to be floorboard put your shifter boot in for the auto and put your carpet down. LABEL EVERYTHING when you disconnect it.
