tacoma catback muffler question

are 3rd gen...2.7l and 3.5l oem mufflers the same after the catalytics?

in other words.. does the 3.5 l muffler fit the 2.7 l... and vice versa.

 

I just watched a video and they only show the tail pipe, its flared out at the end, but I can't tell if the diameter is the same as its v6 brother.

Edit... all other information I pull up says it's a 3 in pipe on all models. Yes, should swap over fine.

 

because I've been watching a lot of videos and I've noticed they look the same I think it would be common sense for Toyota to make one part for multiple vehicles... at least the tacomas

btw...2.7l are 2.50 o.d. but after the cat..
where it bolts.. if you went 3 in after that it wouldn't matter

 

found out there not the same...same muffler but pipes at connection are shorter...since v6 header pipies are longer...
