    12V in pin 5 and 1,

but I measure the MREL E5-8 and it is at 0V from the connector.
When I open the key it is still at 0V, I think my MREL does not send 12V, and some mechanic put the EFI directly

Well next logical step is check the IF1 connector, full engine wiring diagrams below if you need them.
I'll check back in the morning, it's 1 am here. Good luck:thumbsup:

You are taking into account that the ECM takes about 10-20 seconds before it powers down after the key is turned off.

The colleagues of this forum, I thank you for sharing the diagrams. PIN 8 MREL always has 12V. Disconnect everything and there is continuity from E5-8 to the EFI relay coil.
I am looking for the ignition condition of the ECU so that it sends 12V to the MREL

Apparently I already found the problem. It's in my relay box. If I move the relay a little the conditions are normal. but I press it and the 2A's appear. It seems we are close to solving this

It should have open circuit On pins 5 and 3 but it goes from 2k to 25 k ohms. Does anyone know where pin 3 of the efi fuse box goes? It only says E3 pin4

That is the output of the relay, it goes to a junction where it splits to power alot of sensors and solenoids.
Your going to see resistance between that pin and ground, I said it should be at 0v with the relay out.

    Yes, if there is 0V.

Summary. The ECU always sends MREL with the SWITCH off. But in one of the tests in the fuse box, moving the relay, everything returned to normal, and the MREL went to 0V until I turned on the key switch And it went to 12V. And that was where I thought I had found the fault.

Disassemble the fuse box and adjust the pins on the relays. But now the fault is always there. I suspect it will be some shorted ground or wire. But it already surpasses me in my short experience.

If I find the solution I will share it with everyone. But I'll take it to an expert

This should cover everything that has to do with powering on the ecm.

Will you have the conditions of 2001? If they change a little

As far as I know the only input to the PCM to tell it to wake up is the IGN input.
